As well is there any main differences between Royal and Carnival that I should be aware of? Also this will be my 1st non-Caribbean cruise so what should I expect in the Casino as the ports are a-lot closer and port days are longer?

Both me and my family play in the casino and get offers from carnival for ultra cruises, free balcony rooms, casino/cruise cash and free drinks in the casino. We found a booking for SYMPHONY OF THE SEAS. I would normally book with Carnival but we are looking for a Mediterranean cruise which Carnival doesn't have the dates we are looking for. I have been sailing Carnival and I currently have Gold Status with Carnival.
